All Roads Lead to Amber
Similar in many ways to sorcery, conjuration is the ability to shape the stuff of Shadow into objects of Power, albeit temporary. It is an act of focusing ones will and calling forth through psychic ability a temporary object. Like sorcery, conjuration is easily dispelled via superior Powers, but such things can often be used to great efficiency while in Shadow. It requires merely a Chaos level Psyche in order to use conjuration, and has a significant restriction: any Conjured item instantly dissolves the moment it leaves the Shadow in which it was made.
- Tier 1: Conjuration
Like sorcery, conjuration only has one tier. Either one can use it, or one cannot. As a conjurer, you can create objects out of the matter of Shadow. While a simple object, such as an apple or sword, takes only a moment of focus and will, more complex items take more time. Objects with complex mechanical parts and the like require either a ready example or a knowledge of its construction in order to be conjured. A character may also create objects of Power. If creating a Unique quantity item, the conjurer must spend one minute focusing per point of qualities the item possesses, in addition to normal construction time. Creating a Name and Numbered or Horde quantity of items requires an hour per total points. No advanced ability, such as Regeneration or Contains Trump can be given to a conjured item as it is lacking in necessary Substance to maintain such abilities. Additionally, this power becomes increasingly hard to use when nearer to Amber, and ceases to function entirely in Amber.
